Kharkiv patrolmen summed up the results of work for six months of work under martial law News of Kharkiv and Ukraine

The 178th day of heroic resistance to the Russian occupiers continues: Kharkiv patrol officers continue to perform their main tasks, as well as new ones determined by the realities of today: protecting citizens, combating crime and preventing offenses.

In addition, police officers daily deliver humanitarian aid to all corners of the city, they are among the first to arrive at the sites of enemy shelling, where they provide first aid to victims and save lives.

So, in 178 days, the police departments of the patrol police of the Kharkiv region:

  • found 239 people who probably gave evidence to the enemy or showed support for the “Russian peace”;
  • detained 347 people for committing thefts, including 134 cases of looting;
  • detained 45 drug dealers and discovered 1,110 cases of illegal possession of narcotic substances;
  • discovered 88 cases of illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives;
  • searched for 22 cars that were wanted for illegal possession and discovered 18 facts of destruction, forgery or replacement of numbers of nodes and units of the vehicle;
  • found 36 wanted persons.

Also, all this time, police officers ensure the safety of road traffic in the service area 24/7 and warn of gross traffic violations. In particular, during this period, patrol officers made 1,456 reports for driving vehicles while intoxicated.
