Since the beginning of the year, repair crews of KP “Kharkivvodokanal” have relocated 13.7 km of technically worn sections of water pipes.
In particular, 3.7 km of pipelines were replaced in Kyiv district, 2.1 km in Novobavarsky district, 1.7 km in Saltivskyi district, reported in the Kharkiv City Council.
As Mykola Zavada, deputy director for production of the Kharkiv water supply complex, reported today, October 12, despite the difficult wartime, repairmen not only promptly eliminate accidents and carry out preventive maintenance on networks, but also replace technically worn sections of water pipes at an appropriate pace.
“The other day, restoration measures were completed on Dostoevsky Street in Osnovyansky district – a section of the pipeline 270 m long was moved there. The next step is a complex of repair works on a 630 mm diameter water pipeline on Avtomobilnaya Street in Kholodnohirskyi district. There, we plan to replace the 145 m long emergency section,” Mykola Zavada said.
