“No one persuaded us to make any concessions in favor of Russia. If some kind of “zrada” flies through social networks again, I want to say right away that this did not happen,” Kuleba said.

The Foreign Minister noted that both Erdogan and Guterres approach issues “not superficially – they really sincerely empathize and want to solve problems.”

“I suspect that until the end of this war, the solution of many problems through diplomacy will depend on the coordination and decisions of this trio. There is mutual understanding between them – this is the main thing. The President and the UN Secretary General coordinated not only their positions, but also their actions on key issues: the grain corridor, Zaporozhye NPP and the release of our prisoners,” Kuleba said.

He stressed that the participants of the meeting “did not just talk, but agreed on who would do what next.” According to him, the conversation between Zelensky and Erdogan lasted much longer than expected.

  • Today in Lviv, Zelensky held talks with Erdogan and Guterres. The President of Ukraine called on the UN Secretary General to ensure the safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, its demilitarization and the withdrawal of Russian troops from there.
  • Zelensky and Erdogan discussed Russia’s theft of Ukrainian grain – both leaders emphasized that trading in stolen grain is unacceptable.
  • A memorandum of understanding was signed regarding the restoration of infrastructure, providing for the participation of the Turkish side in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
