Ukraine continues to negotiate with Germany and the US on the transfer of Taurus and ATACMS and hopes for a quick decision by the allies regarding these long-range missiles.
The statement dedicated to this topic was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba in a comment Ukrinform.
According to him, all documents regarding the possible transfer of German Taurus missiles have already been handed over to Olaf Scholz.
«I think that this decision is on the German chancellor’s table. He has to accept it.” Kuleba said.
At the same time, Ukraine is discussing the transfer of ATACMS long-range missiles with the American government.
“The solution is not closed at all. In the last conversation with the US Secretary of State, we discussed this. He confirmed that they are analyzing some points related to the application of the quantity to make a final decision.”– said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It will be recalled that in mid-July the mass media reported that the White House is discussing the possibility of supplying Ukraine with ATACMS missiles, but there is currently no clear decision on this issue.
Earlier, Germany explained the delay in the decision on Taurus missiles for Ukraine.
