It is known that the sum will be transferred to the Latvian Council of Public Electronic Mass Media (SEPLP) for the purchase of diesel generators necessary for the work of public public television and radio companies of Ukraine.
The publication reports that on November 29, the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tkachenko, appealed to his colleagues in the EU countries to provide all possible support to the Ukrainian cultural sector and mass media in order to survive the winter. Ukrainian mass media especially need diesel generators.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Latvia decided to allocate almost 560,000 euros from the state budget for the purchase of generators for the needs of Ukraine.
As you know, on June 29 in Lviv, the ministries of culture of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine signed the Lviv Declaration, which, in particular, assesses the possibility of creating a special fund to support cultural heritage and the activities of Ukrainian state media .
- Azerbaijan handed over generators and transformers to Ukraine on December 10. The total amount of humanitarian aid that Azerbaijan provided to Ukraine is about 17.5 million dollars. It includes 45 power transformers and 50 generators
- On December 15, the USA handed over to Kyiv special equipment and generators for boiler houses and heat supply stations.
- On December 16, it became known that the Georgian government allocated $560,000 for the purchase of generators for Ukraine.
- On December 17, Ukraine received 95 transformers and generators from Azerbaijan.
