Lithuanians collected funds for the third maritime drone for Ukraine

“Lithuanians have done it! We have completed fundraising and for $750,000 we will buy three naval drones for Ukraine. And we proudly named them for peace: PEACE children, PEACE yes, PEACE duke. Russian Black Sea Fleet – be afraid. PEACE drones will arrive unnoticed.”

  • It will be recalled that on November 11, Zelensky announced the start of fundraising for a fleet of naval drones.
  • On the same day, funds were collected in Lithuania for the first maritime drone for Ukraine. On November 19, Lithuanians raised $250,000 for the second drone.
  • The Lithuanian Andryus Tapinas is known for the fact that on May 25 he started collecting money to purchase “Bayraktar” for the Ukrainian army.
  • On May 28, the final fundraising broadcast was held, and more than 5 million euros were raised. Later, Turkey transferred “Bayraktar” to Lithuania for free.
  • The day before, Zelensky announced that people from 93 countries had joined the fundraising for sea drones.
