It is known that in September, Jews celebrate the Jewish New Year, the holiday of Rosh Hashanah. During this period, thousands of Hasidic pilgrims come to Ukraine to visit Uman, where the grave of Tzadik Nachman is located. The suspension of the visa waiver may affect this annual pilgrimage.
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, said in a comment to the publication that the ministry currently does not confirm information about plans to suspend visa-free travel with Israel.

As the official added, the Ukrainian side believes that there is a “real danger” that the information discussed with Israel at the meetings in “Ramstein” will “probably end up at the disposal of the aggressor state.”
