During the day, 27 pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service continued humanitarian demining of de-occupied territories. 143 pyrotechnicians and 53 pieces of equipment worked.
They carried out 66 engagements, examined and cleaned the territory with a total area of about 20 hectares, removed and neutralized 803 explosive objects.
The main efforts of the pyrotechnic units are aimed at demining critical infrastructure facilities, water, gas, heat, and electricity networks with the aim of their restoration, as well as checking the private residential sector in the Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv, Izyum, and Chuguyiv districts of the region.
Thus, pyrotechnicians examined about 21 km of power lines and 1 km of gas pipelines over the past day.
In total, since September 8, 1,177 hectares of land, 161 km of highways, 225 km of power lines, 107 km of railway tracks and 155 km of gas pipelines have been surveyed in the de-occupied territory of Kharkiv region, and 27,772 units of explosive objects have been detected and defused.
