“On August 23, 2022, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will take part in the second summit of the Crimean Platform (online),” the published statement reads.

It is known that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida confirmed their participation in the online summit.

  • On February 7, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, said that in August 2022, a new summit of the Crimean Platform will be held with the participation of parliamentary delegations from various countries.
  • On August 15, Zelensky created the Advisory Council on the Deoccupation and Reintegration of Crimea. The document states that the Consultative Council is a consultative and advisory body under the President of Ukraine. The tasks of the newly created council are to prepare provisions for the strategy of de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
