People’s deputy Andrii Odarchenko, who is suspected of trying to bribe the head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure, Mustafa Nayem, was released from custody.

Interlocutors in anti-corruption law enforcement agencies informed the “Slovo i Dilo” journalist about this.

A deposit of 15 million hryvnias was made for him. In addition, Odarchenko was assigned a number of responsibilities.

We will remind, according to the version of the investigation, the People’s Deputy offered the head of the Restoration Agency a bribe in bitcoins equivalent to 50,000 dollars. In exchange, he asked for assistance in obtaining funds from the Fund for the Liquidation of the Consequences of Russia’s Armed Aggression for the repair of infrastructure under his control.

Yesterday, VAKS sent the suspect to custody for 60 days. During the meeting, the prosecutor also read other materials of listening to Odarchenko’s conversations. In them, he assures that Ukraine will not be able to win a war with Russia and that it is necessary to negotiate. Also, the people’s deputy allegedly believed in the capture of Kharkiv and therefore offered to negotiate by giving the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as Crimea, to the aggressor.

It is also worth noting that the law enforcement officers exposed another member of the parliament in an attempt to bribe an infrastructure official.
