Poland is reducing the number of destinations with free travel for Ukrainians

Informs about it in the telegram Ukrzaliznytsia.

Ukrzaliznytsia reminds that the rules of free use of Polish railways for Ukrainians do not change:

  • Citizens who have crossed the Ukrainian border since February 24 and belong to the following groups: children under 18, women, men over 60 and people with disabilities can take advantage of free travel on TLK and IC 2nd class trains.

“Boarding trains – free tickets received in advance at the box office, issued on presentation of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine or a travel document from Ukrzaliznytsia for a train to Poland or a notice of assignment of PESEL number together with any other identity document “, – add in the message.

Ukrainians with disabilities also need to present supporting documents.

  • Ukrzaliznytsia changed the time of sending Intercity + from Przemyśl for a convenient transfer. This will make it easier for Ukrainians to return home to Wroclaw, Katowice, Krakow and Rzeszow.
Wizz Air offers free tickets to help refugees from Ukraine get to Britain under the Home for Ukraine program. Tickets will be available throughout the month (May 14 to June 15).
  • Liverpool-born Steve Morgan will help Ukrainian refugees from Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia reach the UK.
