About this reports journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk.
It is known that the residents of Dagestan demand that the law enforcement agencies release all those detained at anti-mobilization rallies. They assured that if this does not happen within an hour, people will go out in mass protests, and all the tracks will be set on fire.
The corresponding appeal of the activists was published in the Telegram channel”Morning Dagestan“, which coordinates the protest. It is noted that they have already started burning portraits of Putin.
Later, the authors of the channel stated that the information that 10 activists had been released was confirmed, but demanded the release of all. Therefore, Dagestanis were called to go out into the streets.
“Let’s leave our phones, be careful not to get caught on cameras, put on baseball caps and start acting both in Dagestan and in the whole of Russia!” – called the activists.
- On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in the country. After the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia, travel abroad was prohibited to all who are on the military register.
- On September 25, a rally against mobilization in Makhachkala turned into fights between Dagestanis and Russian security forces. Many women came to the protest. Among them are soldiers’ mothers and wives. In order to disperse the rally, security forces fired pistols into the air twice. Despite this, the activists did not stop and repulsed the security forces.
