The court found two 37-year-old men guilty of illegal acquisition, possession for the purpose of sale, sale of a psychotropic substance, and one of them also of the acquisition and possession of a narcotic drug.
They were sentenced to 6 years in prison with confiscation of property, it is reported prosecutor’s office Kharkiv region.
The prosecutors proved that the residents of the city of Pervomaiskyi, acting according to a previous conspiracy, made a living by distributing bundles of the psychotropic substance PVP and amphetamine around the city.
The hostages made hiding places with psychotropic substances, after which they sent the coordinates of the “goods” to the buyers in the messenger.
The men were exposed at the end of July this year. In the course of searches carried out at their places of residence, packages with psychotropic drugs, which they had not yet managed to dispose of, were discovered and seized.
The law enforcement officers also found the narcotic methadone in one of the hostages – the man bought it for personal use.
In addition, the law enforcement officers inspected the places where the men left the packages with psychotropic drugs, and seized the bookmarks.
During the trial, the accused pleaded guilty.
The guilty verdict was handed down by the Pervomaysky City District Court of the Kharkiv Region. There is currently an appeal period.
