Dictator Volodymyr Putin said that Russia is being “provoked” to strike Ukrainian nuclear facilities.
He said this during a speech at the Eastern Economic Forum.
Putin told a “story” at the forum: allegedly recently, during a combat clash on the territory of Russia, the FSB captured “Ukrainian saboteurs.”
“Their task was to cause damage to one of our nuclear power plants, to detonate power lines in order to disrupt the operation of the power plant. This is not the first such attempt. At the same time, during interrogation, they showed that they were trained under the guidance of British instructors. Do they even understand what they are playing with or not? What are they provoking us to do in response to Ukrainian nuclear facilities and nuclear power plants?”– the Russian mass media quoted the president.
At the same time, he rejected the words that the Russian Federation is engaged in nuclear blackmail.
We will remind you that Dmytro Medvedev previously threatened to strike three Ukrainian nuclear power plants and nuclear facilities in Eastern Europe.
In August, it was reported that the Russians were planning to stage a provocation at the Kursk nuclear power plant.
