“The city of Pokrovsk was hit by 5 missiles of the 9М723 Iskander M type between 21:20 and 02:20. More than 20 residential buildings and railway infrastructure were damaged. Currently, 4 dead and 6 injured citizens are known. Other facts regarding the victims and the destruction are being established,” Trebushkin writes. .
Later, Trebushkin noted that one injured person died in the hospital.
“As of 10:10 a.m., 6 citizens died as a result of the night shelling – one more person did not cope with the injuries he received. My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones!” – the message reads.
The head of the city also emphasized the need for residents to evacuate the city.
“The management emphasizes the need for evacuation. The evacuation train continues to run to Lviv and on even numbers to the Kirovohrad region. Registration is carried out on the next even date until 3 p.m. on odd numbers… We continue to recruit a group for evacuation to the Czech town of Male Svatonovyce (on the initiative and support volunteers from Lviv). The recruited group from Pokrovsk can reach Lviv by evacuation train, and from there, with the help of volunteers, it will be possible to reach the Czech Republic,” Trebushkin writes.
