Rammstein. Ukraine and the West agreed to create a “coalition of opportunities” – Umerov – Ukrainian news, Politics

Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov summed up the first results of the 15th meeting in the Ramstein format. He noted that Ukraine and its Western allies agreed to launch a “Coalition of Opportunities.” The head of the department published a corresponding message in Facebook.

According to Umerov, the main goal of this coalition is to prepare the Defense Forces of the future.

To achieve this, the Ministry of Defense has identified five clusters that need priority attention:

– air defense;

– aviation;

– artillery;

– armored vehicles;

– naval forces.

The Minister of Defense also called on Western partners to continue to support Ukraine and outlined priority needs.

• The 15th meeting of the Ramstein format was planned to be held via videoconference, but then the plans were revised.
• The main topic of the meeting, like the previous one, was assistance to Ukraine to strengthen air defense.
