On the night of September 11, Russia attacked Ukraine with Russian-Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones, X-59 cruise missiles and anti-radar missiles – air defense was working. Yuriy Ignat, speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the telethon.
According to him, Russia launched suicide bombers from Yeisk, Krasnodar Territory, in the direction of Krivoy Rog and the Zaporozhye region.
“The enemy launched nine attack UAVs, then the number increased. We will provide official information in the near future,” he said.
According to preliminary information from the Air Force, in the morning it is known that 12 enemy drones were destroyed.
“In addition, the enemy attacked today with anti-radar missiles. These are missiles launched from Su-24 and Su-35 tactical aircraft, as well as Kh-59 guided missiles. Most did not reach their targets. There is also information about one downed drone of an unidentified type.” – said Ignat.
