On Saturday, September 2, the Russian occupiers continued to attack populated areas of Ukraine. As a result of strikes by the Russian army in Ugledar, Donetsk region, a married couple was killed, and in the city of Seredina-Buda, Shostka community, Sumy region, a policeman was killed. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

According to prosecutor’s office, On September 2, the Russian army probably carried out an air strike on Ugledar. Residential buildings were at the epicenter of the hits. As a result of an explosion in one of the high-rise buildings, a 43-year-old man and his 42-year-old wife were killed.

Their 19-year-old daughter and another local resident, 53 years old, were injured – they had mine-explosive injuries, concussions and bruises.

Sumy OVA reportedthat the Russians fired artillery on September 2, 10 explosions were recorded.

As a result of shelling, Ruslan Faraonov, a senior investigator of the investigative department of the Shostkinsky district department of the Main Directorate for Police in the Sumy region, was killed while on duty.

Four more civilians were injured, two of whom were children.

  • Also today, the Russians shelled Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. A rocket hit the roadway, another hit an apartment, and a third hit a cemetery.
  • Kherson also came under another attack: the Russians dropped air bombs and killed a man.
