Three radiation monitoring sensors were damaged by enemy fire. Now the personnel of the NPP will not be able to detect the leakage of radiation from containers with spent fuel in time. An employee of the station was also injured. He received shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.
It was previously reported that there is currently no radiation threat at the Zaporizhia NPP captured by the occupiers, but the situation may worsen if the Russians continue shelling.
It will be recalled that on August 5, the occupiers fired twice at the ZNPP. There was a threat of spraying of radioactive substances.
