Russian troops shelled five communities of the Sumy region

Last day, the Russian occupiers released more than a hundred rounds of ammunition in the Sumy region.

This was announced on Monday, September 5, by the head of Sumy OVA, Dmytro Zhivytskyi.

Shelling of the Zaporizhzhia NPP: the last power unit was disconnected from the networkAs a result of the fire at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the last line connecting the plant to the energy system of Ukraine was disconnected. The only working power unit supplies only the needs of the ZNPP.

According to him, the Bilopol community was the most affected by shelling. There, as a result of the strikes, houses and power lines were damaged. About 25 families were left without electricity.

In total, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers shelled five communities of the Sumy region:

Bilopol community. At 11:30 p.m., a private house and power line were damaged (25 subscribers without power supply) as a result of mortar shelling (8 hits). A car was also damaged, and some houses had their windows blown out.

Myropol community. From 02:00 Russian troops fired mortars (14 hits). In the morning, shelling continued with artillery (22 volleys). Power lines and the village council building were damaged.

Khotyn community. The occupiers fired mortars at night. In total, about 26 arrivals were recorded.

Shalygin community. In the morning, the enemy opened fire with small arms. Later, there was mortar shelling (18 hits).

Middle Buda community. After 10 am, the occupiers released 8 mines in the region.

During the day, the occupiers shelled the Kryvorizka district.
