Donbas will continue to be the main epicenter of the Russian attack, Serhiy Cherevaty, spokesman for the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said on the air of the national telethon.
“Our soldiers are doing everything to stop the onslaught of the Russian occupier. The Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions are under the greatest attack. The enemy is attacking with all kinds of artillery systems, mortars and tanks, but he suffers significant losses and, as a rule, we do not allow him to advance,” – he noted.
According to Cherevaty, the Russian occupiers are losing about 100 soldiers in these directions.
“These are serious losses. And this affects their morale. According to our intercepts, we know that in the Avdiiv direction they were planning the arrival of officers-educators from the Pacific Fleet in order to calm the morale and help,” the spokesman noted Eastern group of troops.
