Shelling of border villages, day in Kharkiv Oblast | News of Kharkiv and Ukraine

Yesterday, the enemy shelled the settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupyan, Izyum and Chuguyiv districts of the Kharkiv region, located not far from the demarcation line and the border with the Russian Federation, Oleg Synegubov, the head of HOVA, said.

In particular, including from the territory of the Russian Federation, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements: Chugunivka, Strelecha, Dvorichna, Kamianka, Krasne, Staritsa, Berestovka, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka and Figolivka with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery.

Yesterday, in the Izyum district, an anti-tank mine blew up a car of pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service. According to the updated data of the regional emergency medical aid center, 1 person died, 6 were injured.

During the day, no civilians were injured as a result of enemy shelling. However, a 62-year-old man was injured by a mine in the Kharkiv district.

Over the past day, 291 explosive objects have been defused, but mine danger in the region is still very high. Once again, I urge everyone to exercise maximum caution.

On the contact line, our defenders continue fighting with the Russian occupiers. We believe in the Armed Forces, we work for victory!🇺🇦
