On the night of August 17, Russian troops shelled Mykolaiv with S-300 missiles. Two Russian missiles hit the building of the Black Sea National University named after Petro Mohyla.
This was reported by the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevich, and the head of the military administration of the region, Vitaly Kim.
“Just a few days ago, I published a video and showed that there is no military base there. That ordinary specialists of the university work there: they accept applicants’ documents, sign circular letters, issue diplomas. And tonight, two Russian missiles flew there. At the time of the attack, there was only a security guard at the university. Fortunately, he was not injured. Houses opposite the facility were damaged by debris and the shock wave.”– said Sienkovych.
Kim added that rockets also hit one of the city’s enterprises at night, and private houses were damaged. And yesterday evening, the occupiers hit the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv with rockets from the Smerch salvo fire system.
We will remind you that on July 15, the occupiers fired at two higher educational institutions in Mykolaiv, including the shipbuilding university.
On August 10, the Russians shelled Mykolaiv with the Smerch anti-aircraft missile system. Three people were injured.
