The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmygal, said that more than 60 billion hryvnias have already been allocated to rapid reconstruction in Ukraine.
The head of the Cabinet reported this in Telegram.
At the Yalta European Strategy, the head of the government noted that the Ukrainian economy is formed in three dimensions: the economy of wartime, the economy of recovery and the economy of the future.
“The reconstruction economy has successfully started and is gaining momentum. More than 60 billion hryvnias have already been allocated to rapid reconstruction, in particular to demining, restoration of people’s homes, restoration and protection of critical infrastructure. We are working to make Russia pay for all the destruction in Ukraine”– said Shmyhal.
According to him, a wartime economy is already operating in Ukraine and macro-financial assistance from partners makes it possible to spend internal resources on the army.
The Prime Minister added that the Ukrainian economy of the future is still crystallizing. It will be formed by such industries as the military-industrial complex, construction and infrastructure, the agricultural sector, energy, IT, and mechanical engineering.
We will remind you that Denmark will increase aid for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Up to 1.5 Danish crowns (160 million dollars) will be allocated to the development of Ukraine in 2024.
Earlier it became known how many Ukrainians joined the “Army of Restoration”.
