At the people’s deputy Nestor Shufrich During searches on September 15, they found a document with a diagram of the “autonomy” of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. About it LIGA.net Sources in the Security Service of Ukraine reported.
According to the interlocutors, the document provides for the renaming of the regions of Donbass into the so-called “krai”.
It also specifies broad autonomy, holding elections, and the formation of a separate government and parliament.
The document is dated July 2014, it bears the signatures of Shufrich himself and the former people’s deputy collaborator Viktor Medvedchuk.
Sources note that it was in the summer of 2014 that Shufrich publicly said that both of his sons would go to fight in the ATO zone if they were called up, and at the same time he was preparing documents that undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

Shufrich still heads the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech.
