In Kharkiv, 167 buildings damaged by shelling are planned to be restored in 2024.
This is the mayor of the city Ihor Terekhov reported today, November 14, on the air of the national telethon.
According to the mayor’s office, 200 houses were restored in the city last year, and by the end of this year, restoration works will be completed in another 56.
“There are 167 houses planned for recovery next year. There is project and estimate documentation for their restoration. The destruction is very large. These include Northern Saltivka, Pyatikhatky, and other areas of the city,” Igor Terekhov said.
The mayor also emphasized the importance of allocating subventions to Kharkiv from the state budget, because according to preliminary estimates, the damage caused to the city as a result of shelling by the Russian army already reaches 9.5 billion dollars.
