In Ukraine, on the initiative of the Security Service, the activities of 12 pro-Russian parties were finally banned.

The SBU reported this in Telegram.

It is known that the other day the Administrative Court of Cassation as part of the Supreme Court of Ukraine rejected the appeal of the “Socialist Party of Ukraine” and, thus, finally banned its activities. From now on, the activities of 12 pro-Russian police forces are completely banned in Ukraine.

“Socialist Party of Ukraine” added to the list of previously banned pro-Russian political parties, including: “Opposition Bloc”, “Socialists”, “Justice and Development”, “Nashi”, “State”, “Bloc of Volodymyr Saldo”, “Left Opposition” , “Sharia Party”, “Union of Left Forces”, “Opposition Platform – For Life” and “Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine”.

«In the course of investigative and operational actions, it was proven that representatives of these political forces took a direct part in establishing an occupation regime in the territories of Ukraine captured by the Russian Federation and took part in the organization and holding of fake referendums in these territories“, the SBU added.

Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, SBU investigators have launched more than 80 pre-trial investigations, including those against deputies of councils of various levels, based on the facts of the activities of their officials. Within these proceedings, 37 suspicions were announced. It is noted that individual participants in these proceedings are hiding from justice, including on the territory of Russia.

We will remind, on September 21, people’s deputy from the “Opposition Bloc” party, banned in Ukraine, Dmytro Shentsev, wrote a statement on drawing up his parliamentary credentials.
