Russian troops once again attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones launched at night on October 6 from Cape Chauda (occupied Crimea).
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that 33 “shaheed” launches were recorded.
The drones were headed in several groups in the direction of the southern, eastern and central regions.
“25 Shahed-131/136 were destroyed by the forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the Air Defense Forces of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, in particular within the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions”, – said the military.
It will be recalled that the drones attacked, in particular, the border and port infrastructure of the Izmail district of the Odesa region. As a result, the granary was damaged. The “Orlivka” ferry checkpoint is also temporarily closed.
Air defense forces shot down 24 out of 29 attack drones last night. An infrastructure object was hit in Kirovohrad Oblast.
