During the last four waves of attacks by Iranian drones, the Russian occupiers launched 67 attack drones on the territory of Ukraine.

Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported this on the air telethon.

When asked whether Russia could simultaneously launch 220 Iranian drones from a new batch that remained after the last attack, Ignat clarified that the president was talking about 250 drones from a new batch – but whether the remainder is counted from the last 35 or from the four waves that were launched after a long pause – “and these are 67 UAVs, counted today.”

“Maybe, obviously, but do they need it?”– said Ignat.

The representative of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that you can be happy with each downing of a drone, despite the exhaustion of air defense, because even a few hits lead to bad consequences. At the same time, Ignat explained that Ukraine’s reserves are not eternal either.

“Russia is the only manufacturer of Buk-M1 and S-300 missiles. These complexes are currently the main air shield that protects our skies from, first of all, Russian aviation, which does not appear here. They are also the main shield against cruise missiles and Shaheds. Attrition refers to combat equipment, radar stations, and ammunition. They wear out relatively cheap strike-type UAVs that we have to respond to. We will respond with anti-aircraft missile systems, fighter aircraft, and mobile fire groups… Of course, a cruise missile, 400 kilograms of explosives, and “Shahed” up to 40 kilograms are slightly different capacities, but both are dangerous, especially for “critical infrastructure facilities”– he said.

According to Ignat, Ukraine can also rely on two NASAMS batteries and one IRIS-T battery, but this is not enough to cover the front line.

We will remind that the Russian Federation has started using the even smaller Iranian Shahed-131 drone in Ukraine.

Earlier, the Armed Forces said how many kamikaze drones were shot down since the beginning of the month.

The day before, the US accused the UN of not wanting to investigate the use of Iranian drones by Russia.
