The Armed Forces called the occupiers’ reports about “combat successes” in the east as disinformation News of Kharkiv and Ukraine

The Russian invaders exert informational and psychological pressure, talking about “successes” in the Lyman and Bakhmut directions.

This was announced by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the telethon of Yedyny Novyny Sergey Cherevatywrite Ukrinform.

“For several days in a row, Russian troops have been trying to take Bakhmut. This is such a “Brest fortress” for them. For several days in a row, they have been conducting their information operation about the fact that a number of settlements near Bakhmut have already been “taken” – this is not true. Very heavy fighting is going on there, the enemy has concentrated his most powerful forces there. However, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding a blow there and are not allowing it to go any further,” the spokesperson assured.

According to him, the information about the Russian “counteroffensive” on the Lyman is also not true. Although the enemy tries to show the opposite.

“Actually, they are building defensive positions in the area of Kreminnaya, Svatovo. Moreover, they brag in their publications that they are building the so-called “Putin’s line”, shot from a quadcopter, from several positions, in a staged manner. He said that they are ready not to let the Ukrainian army pass, and not a step back. And I think that this is also an element of information influence on us. But our headquarters will take into account all operational information when planning the next actions. I don’t think that the enemy will beat us in this direction,” Cherevaty said.

Earlier it was reported that the troops of the Russian Federation for the past day attacked 7 settlements of Donetsk region. There are wounded and dead civilians.
