On Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the temporarily occupied Svitlodarsk of the Donetsk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile complexes of the Russian occupying forces with powerful strikes. This was reported by the StratCom of the ZSU.
“Today at around 12:30 p.m. in the temporarily occupied Svitlodarsk, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully “demilitarized” two Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile systems, – says the messages.
It is noted that both air defense systems tried to protect the nearby parts of the headquarters of the brigade and the airborne division of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation.

In the evening briefing on September 16, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that during the day, the units of the missile forces struck three Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems and five enemy artillery pieces. Also, the aviation of the Defense Forces made two strikes on control points, 12 on the areas of concentration of personnel of weapons and military equipment, and five on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
In total, during the full-scale war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, 271,790 Russian invaders were eliminated. Thousands of units of enemy equipment were also destroyed: more than 4,600 tanks, almost 6,000 artillery systems, 8,824 armored vehicles, planes, helicopters, ships, etc.
