The Armed Forces had a tactical success in the Kramatorsk direction – the General Staff

On Monday, September 5, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled attempts to attack the occupiers in the areas of nine settlements. Also, the Ukrainian defenders had tactical success in the Kramatorsk direction and knocked the enemy out of previously occupied positions.

This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Enemy troops today carried out more than 40 shelling from MLRS and more than 25 airstrikes to defeat military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine.

The occupiers carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Zalyman in the Kharkiv region, Dmytrivka, Bogorodichne, Zaytseve, Kodema, Soledar, Yakivka, Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region, and Dorozhnyanka in the Zaporizhia region.

In the Siverskyi direction, the border areas of settlements of Chernihiv and Sumy regions came under fire.

In other directions, the invaders, using the available means of fire defeat, continued shelling the military and civilian infrastructure, namely:

  • in the Kharkiv direction, the Russians shelled the areas of the settlements of Udy, Odnorobivka, Sosnivka, Dementiivka, Nove, Rospldnyk, Borshcheva, Russian Lozova, Russian Tyshki, Petrivka, Momotove, Bayrak, Slobozhanske, Husarivka, Mospanove, and Chepel;
  • in the Slavic direction, Krasnopillya, Vernopillya, Dubravne and Bogorodichne were shelled
  • in the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked Donetsk, Piskunivka, Kryvou Luka, Siversk and Spirn;
  • in the Bakhmut direction, Mykolaivka, Vesele, Bilogorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Kodema, Zaitseve and Mayorsk were affected;
  • in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy shelled Oleksandrivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, and Maryinka;
  • in the Novopavlivsk direction – Vilne Pole, Vremivka, Novomykhailivka and Kermenchyk; in the Zaporozhye direction – Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, Gulyaipoli, Chervone, Kamianske.

In the Southern Buzka direction, the Russians are concentrating on the defense of previously occupied lines and positions, continued shelling in the areas of Kvitneve, Shevchenkive, Lyubomirovka, Novogrigorivka, Posad Pokrovske, Ukrainka, Prybuzke, Lymany, Luparevo, Myrne, Oleksandrivka and Tavriyske settlements.

At the same time, the Ukrainian military repelled the attempts of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka, Hryhorivka, Pokrovske, Bakhmutske, Lozove, Spartak, Soledar, Zaitseve and Semihirya, and in the Kramatorsk direction they had tactical success and knocked the enemy out of the positions he had previously occupied.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out more than 15 strikes aimed at hitting the personnel, combat and special equipment, as well as other military objects of the occupiers.

The successful actions of the Ukrainian military led to the disabling of the crossings in the Kherson area and once again nullified the attempts of the Russians to resume the transfer of troops across the Dnipro River.

It should be noted that the Russian occupiers released more than a hundred rounds of ammunition in the Sumy region last day.

The night before, Russia hit Kharkiv with rockets, during the day they shelled the residents of the region.
