The armed forces of Ukraine have advanced another 1.5 km in the Robotyny region of the Zaporizhzhia region.
Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesman for the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria Region, stated this on air telethon.
“We continue small advances in the Robotyny region. About 1.5 square kilometers of our Ukrainian territory has been liberated,” he said.
He also noted that the Defense Forces are holding back enemy attacks in the Mariinsky direction.
“In the area of Maryinka, the Ukrainian military repelled about 15 enemy attacks. That is, the enemy does not stop trying to take the ruins that used to be the city of Maryinka,” the spokesman said.
At the same time, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the operational and strategic group of troops “Tavria” in Telegram stated about the advancement of the Defense Forces in the Tavria direction by more than one kilometer.
According to him, the artillery units of our army performed 1,391 fire missions during the day.
“Over the last day, the enemy lost 226 people (72 irretrievably injured, 149 wounded, 5 captured). 27 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 3 tanks, 2 anti-aircraft guns, 3 artillery systems and mortars, 2 anti-aircraft guns, 9 unmanned aerial vehicles, 5 units of automobile equipment and 3 units of special equipment. Also, 6 enemy ammunition depots were destroyed,” Tarnavskyi said.

As UNIAN reported, according to the General Staff, in the area of responsibility of the “Tavria” anti-aircraft missile defense system in the Avdiyiv, Marin and Shakhtar directions, the Defense Forces continue to hold the initiative: they hold back the enemy, carry out assaults and regain our land meter by meter. In particular, Ukrainian soldiers repelled about 15 enemy attacks in the Maryinka area.
In the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces are conducting an offensive operation, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, forcing the enemy to withdraw from the occupied positions.
In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to conduct a counter-battery fight, destroy the enemy’s warehouses and inflict successful damage on his rear.
