The Defense Forces of Ukraine have improved their tactical position west of Robotyny in the Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy again suffered losses in manpower and equipment.
This was announced on Wednesday by the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops “Tavria”, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi in Telegram.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction – they have improved the tactical position west of Robotyny”, he wrote.
According to him, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed almost 100 units of enemy equipment in one day in the Tavry direction, including the Su-25 aircraft and the Terminator self-propelled gun.
He also noted that units of missile forces and artillery from the Tavria air defense system carried out 1,777 fire missions during the day.
“The total losses of the enemy amounted to 750 people. 98 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 18 tanks, 59 anti-aircraft missiles, 5 artillery systems, one anti-aircraft missile, Su-25 aircraft, 8 unmanned aerial vehicles, 2 cars and 3 units of special equipment. An ammunition depot and 2 more important enemy facilities were also destroyed.”– added Tarnavskyi.
Last day, according to him, the enemy carried out 26 airstrikes, carried out 56 combat clashes, and also carried out 849 artillery barrages.
We will remind, on October 10, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine met with the commanders of the operational groups of the Tavriy and Zaporizhzhia troops. Before that, the Armed Forces reported about new losses of the enemy in the Lymano-Kupian direction.
