The strike on the airfield of the Russian occupying forces in Novofedorivka in Crimea could have been carried out by US-made ATACMS missiles with a cluster warhead. These missiles have a range of up to 300 kilometers and can be launched from the M270 MLRS and HIMARS.
About this reports edition of InformNapalm.

Thus, according to project analysts, the result of the attack on the Russian air base can be compared with other examples of the use of such missiles on targets. In addition, the available satellite images do not reflect the real picture of losses and destruction at the airfield.
Analysts added that there were large losses in equipment after the attack, caused by the fact that the occupying 43rd Air Regiment of the Russian Air Force is normally based at this airfield, but there were many other aircraft there at the time of the attack.
We will remind you that on the eve of the occupied Crimea, for the first time during the full-scale war, explosions rang out at a military facility. Officially, Russia persistently refuses to admit the powerlessness of its anti-aircraft defense and denies a possible missile hit.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine did not provide clear comments, ironically reminding about “fire safety rules and the prohibition of smoking in unspecified places.” On the morning of August 10, the General Staff report on Russian losses mentioned nine destroyed planes.
At the same time, the United States previously stated that they are not ready to provide Ukraine with ATACMS, missiles that have a range of up to 300 kilometers and can be used to fire from HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems. But the OPU expressed confidence that sooner or later the USA will still provide Ukraine with ATACMS.
