“If, after all, Belarus gets involved in the war, the Belarusian troops will not be given any serious task of occupying the entire Volyn region, because they will not be able to do it physically. And obviously, they will be given the task of going deeper into the territory of Volyn to a depth of 20 30 km in order to stretch our front”, – assumed the head of the headquarters of the “Lyubart” special forces unit.
Andriy Dyachenko noted that, as is known, Ukraine is preparing a counteroffensive for August-September and will continue to liberate the South from the invaders, therefore the military and political leadership of the enemy is trying to drag Belarus into the war.
Dyachenko added: “Some transport communications, highways and railway junctions pass through the territory of Volyn, so this will be one of the goals of the Belarusians, if Lukashenko loses his remaining common sense and involves his country in this adventure.”
- Earlier, the head of the headquarters of the “Lubart” detachment said that the Belarusian army would not be able to advance beyond the Warsaw highway in the event of an attack on Volyn
- On July 13, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak noted that Russia aims to dispose of the Belarusian army and then absorb the country
- The Belarusian military also rotated personnel and equipment on the border with Ukraine
- In addition, in the Kamin-Kashir district in Volyn, which borders Belarus, the border line is being strengthened
