According to him, his contacts with Gerasimov did not stop, despite Russia’s big war against Ukraine. He noted that he does not hide his communication with the chief of the Russian General Staff and believes that conversations should take place more often.
“I would like this communication to be even more regular. I would like contacts with the Russian Federation to be even stronger, even if these are difficult conversations. This is an ongoing relationship,” the admiral said.
Radakin stressed that he had agreed with Gerasimov not to disclose the details of their conversations, and the Russian general follows this.
“We need to use every opportunity to keep channels of communication with Russia open in the future. The danger is that you are so passionate that you can exaggerate everything. You need to analyze, but not overestimate, and also try to be balanced,” the military leader summed up .
