Men who are not subject to conscription for military service during mobilization are unlikely to be allowed to travel abroad in the near future. However, there are active discussions on this topic.
This was stated by People’s Deputy, member of the VRU Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, representative of the President in the KSU Fedir Venislavskyi, writes UNIAN.
“So far this issue has not been resolved. Whether it will be resolved in the near future – I do not have such confidence, given the discursiveness and acuteness,” he said.
At the same time, he added that the deputies are discussing the possibility of sending sailors abroad, as this can have a positive effect on the economy of Ukraine.
“But this issue is very complex and ambiguous. To date, there is no unity in the understanding of whether or not it is worth liberalizing travel abroad for certain categories of persons who do not work in the Armed Forces,” Venislavskyi said.
