The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavsky, summoned the Russian ambassador to the country, Oleksandr Zmievsky, for an urgent conversation over the crime of the Russian army against the village of Groza.
It is about the Iskander missile attack on October 5, when the occupiers killed 56 people at a wake in the Kharkiv region. The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed about Lipavskyi’s intention to summon the ambassador of the Russian Federation, writes Czech newspaper.
“We can confirm that Minister Lipavsky, through his deputy, decided to summon the Russian ambassador due to the recent barbaric attack on civilians in the village of Groza,” the message reads.
It is noted that the conversation with Zmievsky was entrusted to Deputy Minister Jan Marian. He stressed to the Russian side that the Czech Republic supports Ukraine and received counter-accusations from the Russian ambassador. Zmievsky claims that Russia is unjustifiably accused of a crime.
“Of course, we resolutely rejected unfounded accusations against Russia and the armed forces of the Russian Federation. However, the dialogue did not take place,” the Russian diplomat said.
The Czech Republic did not even want to listen to Russia’s arguments regarding this attack, the Russian embassy said.
