The pickups were obtained thanks to the cooperation of the management of Naftogaz Group and Kharkiv OVA.
The cars will be used to equip fire groups that will protect the skies of Kharkiv region from kamikaze drones, said the head of Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
“We continue to form and strengthen our military units to protect the sky. These pickups are needed for a new formation of mobile fire groups that will fight against drones of the “Shahed” type.
We have plans for several dozen more cars in this direction,” Oleg Sinegubov added.
Fire groups are being strengthened to protect critical, energy and civil infrastructure facilities.
“This is one of the basic areas for our group’s activities. We hope that the pickups will serve to strengthen the defense of the region and protect the civilian population of the Kharkiv region,” said the director of corporate and regulatory relations of the Naftogaz Group, Ivan Lukerya.
We will remind, the day before, 15 Mavic type drones were handed over to the needs of the defenders of Kharkiv Oblast.
