Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the director of the Kupyansk Water Canal was notified of suspicion of collaborative activity (Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, during the occupation of the city, the head of the utility company “Kupyansky Vodokanal” decided to “resign” and worked for representatives of the Russian Federation.
Thus, the “new government” carried out a “reorganization” of the Ukrainian utility company, turning it into an occupation water channel.
By order of the occupation administration, the suspect was appointed to the position of “acting director” of the specified enterprise.
In order to please the pseudo-authority, the man participated in occupations and official meetings of the occupiers. In addition, he campaigned for former Vodokanal employees to work in a “reorganized” pro-Russian enterprise.
After the de-occupation of the city of Kupyansk, law enforcement officers exposed a collaborator.
The pre-trial investigation is conducted by the SBU Department in the Kharkiv region.
