As the intelligence found out, groups of people in civilian clothes pass themselves off as FSB officers and conduct apartment-by-apartment searches in Moscow. Residents are asked whether there are Ukrainians living nearby, or whether someone is renting housing to Ukrainians. They also find out the attitude of citizens to the war.

“This is done in order to prevent the formation and spread of a negative attitude towards the war and to identify people who can influence the formation of independent public opinion about it”– said the GUR.

We will remind you that according to the survey of the Russian Levada Center, Russians are losing interest in the war in Ukraine, but are inclined to continue it.
