From the evening of November 19 until the morning of Monday, almost 150 units of road equipment worked on the roads of the Kharkiv region. About 2,000 tons of anti-icing materials were used to treat the surface. In total, 1,800 km of public roads of state importance were cleared.

“Precipitation – first in the form of rain, sleet, and then snow – began closer to Sunday evening. The cyclone entered the Kharkiv region from the south and soon spread throughout the region. The most difficult situation was in the Izyum direction, where the precipitation was the most intense. The thickness of the snow cover reached an average of 10 cm,” the message reads.
According to the organization, passage on the national highways of Kharkiv Oblast was ensured, there were no road accidents due to the unsatisfactory quality of the surface. No interruptions and delays in traffic were recorded. According to forecasters, the cyclone should leave the territory of the Kharkiv region after 2 p.m. today.
