The helicopter from Shoigu was not flying in the “SVO zone”, but near the administrative border between Crimea and the Kherson region. | News of Kharkiv and Ukraine

The helicopter with the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu did not even approach the territory of the so-called “SVO”, and the video in which Shoigu “flied over the areas of deployment of troops” was filmed near the border of Crimea and the Kherson region

As reported Censor.NOdata were published in social networks that indicate that the helicopter was nowhere near the zone of active fighting.

“As it was assumed, Shoigu and his generals did not fly over the “SVO zone”, but over a completely safe place – the territory of Crimea, near the checkpoint “Armyansk”, – writes the author of the publication.

It will be recalled that the Russian military department published a video on Telegram in which Shoigu was filmed in a military helicopter. In addition, the video shows aerial footage of empty areas of land.

“The head of the Russian military department flew over the areas where the troops are deployed and checked the advanced positions of Russian units in the area of the special military operation,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Also, the department’s report states that Shoigu communicated with the troops “on the front line” and “at the command post”, where he listened to reports from the commanders “about the current situation and actions of Russian troops in the operational areas.”

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation added that during the hearing of the commanders, Shoigu paid special attention “to the organization of the comprehensive support of the troops, the conditions for the deployment of personnel in the field, as well as the work of medical and rear units.”
