On the night of September 21, the Russian military shelled the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv. As a result of shelling, the roof, 8th and 9th floors of the building were damaged. Rescuers rescued ten residents from under the rubble, the prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region reports.
Another projectile hit near another nine-story building, the technical floor was damaged. A man was injured.
Destruction was also recorded near one of the infrastructure facilities.
Previously, the occupiers shelled Kharkiv with the Smerch anti-aircraft missile system.
Under the procedural leadership of the Novobavarian District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv, a pre-trial investigation was started in criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Prosecutors, together with the police, conduct inspections of the scene of events and remove fragments of projectiles – another evidence of Russian military aggression against Ukrainians.
