On November 6, the law prohibiting the use and distribution of most fireworks, fireworks and firecrackers came into full force. It also prescribes regulations on the prohibition of night music and repair work in houses on weekends.

Yevgenia Kravchuk, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, announced this on Facebook.

This law was adopted by the Rada in April this year, and President Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed it in May.

At the same time, regulations prohibiting the use and sale of fireworks, including fireworks and firecrackers (except fireworks of the F1 class, which have a very low level of danger and a negligible noise level not exceeding 60 dB) came into force.

That is, today is prohibited: use of fireworks (pyrotechnic products intended for use during entertainment events) of classes F2, F3, F4; sale and/or transfer in any way of fireworks of classes F2, F3, F4; sale and/or transfer in any way of F1 class fireworks to persons under 16 years of age.

From November 6 regulations on noise reduction came into force.

Thus, executive power bodies, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions, organizations and citizens will be obliged to take measures to prevent noise levels from being exceeded in the premises of residential buildings and on the adjacent territory; in the premises of health care facilities, sanatorium-resort facilities, boarding houses, educational institutions, culture; in the premises of hotels and hostels; in the premises of public catering, trade, household services, entertainment and gambling businesses located within settlements; in the premises of other buildings and structures in which people are permanently or temporarily staying; on the territories of parks, squares, recreation areas, located on the territory of microdistricts and groups of residential buildings.

It is noted that the noise at protected objects during the conduct of any type of activity should not exceed the levels established by the state medical and sanitary standards for the corresponding time of day.

Also on protected objects from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m loud singing and shouting, the use of sound-reproducing equipment and other sources of household noise, and the use of pyrotechnic products are prohibited.

Carrying out repair work accompanied by noise is prohibited on working days from 9 p.m. to 8 a.mand on holidays and non-working days – around the clock.

We will remind you that in May the Cabinet of Ministers limited the use of music in buses and taxis. Earlier, the Council banned Russian music and the import of books from the aggressor country.
