The aggressor country Russia raised the stakes in the war against Ukraine by destroying power plants and water supply facilities.

This is stated in a message on the Twitter page of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“One cruise missile launched by Russia at a residential building is capable of destroying dozens of civilians. What the aggressor repeatedly proves. But this is not enough for their political leadership. The enemy raised the stakes by destroying power plants and water supply facilities on the eve of winter.”– said the Ministry of Defense.

At the same time, the military department emphasizes that the enemy is counting on the death of thousands of Ukrainians from the cold.

“But the enemy did not understand anything about the resistance of the Ukrainian people”– the Ministry of Defense added.

We will remind that this morning a large-scale air alert was announced over Ukraine. Russia massively attacked Ukrainian cities with missiles. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Lviv regions and in Lutsk. In some regional centers, electricity and water have partially disappeared.

We previously reported that the scale of destruction from today’s strikes may exceed the consequences of the October 10-12 attack.

The OPU also said how many Ukrainians were left without electricity by Russian missile strikes.

Later it became known that the Russians completely destroyed one of the energy facilities in Lutsk with rockets.
