It is noted that the Ministry of Reintegration continues to pay state monetary aid in the interests of persons who have been deprived of their liberty as a result of armed aggression against Ukraine. It is about one-time and annual assistance in the amount of 100,000 hryvnias.
In August alone, the Ministry of Reintegration transferred more than 90 million hryvnias to pay state aid to prisoners and directed 29 million hryvnias to the bank accounts of those released from Russian captivity.
In addition, last month, the Ministry of Reintegration paid annual state cash assistance to the families of prisoners in the total amount of 62 million hryvnias.
It is noted that for 8 months of the current year, the Ministry of Reintegration has paid state aid in the total amount of more than 228 million hryvnias to those released from captivity and to the families of political prisoners, civilian hostages and prisoners of war.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence stated that as of Friday, September 8, Ukraine returned almost 2,600 people from captivity.
