The match of the 1/8 finals of the European Volleyball Championship between Portugal and Ukraine ended with a confident victory for our team. The Ukrainians beat the Portuguese in three sets – 25:20, 25:19, 25:22.
In the next round, the men’s national team of Ukraine will play against Slovenia, which beat Turkey – 3:2. The match will be held on September 11.
This will be the second meeting for the teams at this EC. The Slovenians won the group stage (3:1).
Ukraine will play in the EC quarterfinals for the second time in the last four years.
