Ukraine needs to get 45 billion US dollars this year to cover all financial needs. As of mid-November, the Allies had already transferred most of this amount – $35 billion.
The head of the National Bank, Andriy Pishnyi, said this in an interview with the portal The Banker.
According to him, there is currently no reduction in financial support for Ukraine.
“Of course, we monitor the situation in the donor countries and it is natural that we are concerned. Our needs by the end of the year amount to 45 billion dollars, and we expect that all these funds will come to Ukraine and all the necessary solutions will be found.” – said the head of the regulator.
He also emphasized that all assets of the Russian Federation frozen in Western countries should be used to restore Ukraine.
“The debate about the legal basis for the transfer of Russian assets to Ukraine continues, but recently the discussion about the transfer to Ukraine of the income received from Russian assets that remain in circulation has intensified. Ukrainian diplomats and lawyers are working hard on this.” – summed up Pishnyi.
We will remind you that from the infographic “Word and Deed” you can find out what amount of aid the allies have allocated to Ukraine and what percentage of their own GDP it is.
